Public Sector Cyber Council (PSCC)

This council brings together federal, provincial, and territorial leaders to strengthen collaboration on cyber security across Canada. In keeping with the Institute for Citizen-Centred Service’s role as a neutral platform for inter-jurisdictional collaboration and support to public sector leadership tables, the Council helps advance shared priorities and coordinated action in support of stronger digital trust and cyber resilience across governments.

Key areas of focus include:

  • supporting pan-Canadian collaboration on cybersecurity priorities;
  • promoting dialogue and consensus across jurisdictions;
  • encouraging greater alignment in strategy, policy, and operational practices;
  • enabling the sharing of tools, services, and expertise to strengthen capacity; and
  • supporting coordinated approaches while respecting the independence of each government.

This work reflects ICCS’s role in supporting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and coordination among public sector organizations on issues that affect multiple jurisdictions.
